Winter School
The Society will run a Winter School for Primary School aged students from Monday 11 July 2011 to Friday 15 July 2011. This program offers a variety of musical and fun activities.

Spring Jazz School
The Society will run a workshop for High School aged students from Tuesday 4 October 2011 to Friday 7 October 2011, 2:00–5:00pm. This is a opportunity for students to learn about Jazz and Improvisation.

Jazz Beginner Workshop
The YMS Jazz workshop is a ten-week beginner course (Years 5-10) to learn the basics of improvisation. The workshop rehearses on Thursday evenings, 6:30–7:30pm, at the Ainslie Arts Centre in school terms ($130 per term).

Jazz Band
A weekly workshop for young jazz musicians working towards performances in Canberra as the YMS Jazz Band. For students with 3 years of experience playing their instrument. The band rehearses on Thursday evenings, 6:30–8:30pm, at the Ainslie Arts Centre in school terms.
